There isn’t much news at all right now. But first I found an article from OceanUp:

Daisy spotted Kevin and Joe Jonas in the parking lot of San Diego Sports Arena on Tuesday. Another eyewitness saw the boys at Pinkberry later that day: ‘They had a girl friend with them. They weren’t flirty or anything. But I’m not sure who it was.’

I found this article about Tim McGraw’s new book from the Chicago Tribune, it briefly mentions the boys:

The 41-year-old country singer said he enjoys spending time with his daughters — ages 11, 10 and 6 — but if he did what they liked doing, he’d be spending a lot of time shopping at the mall or getting pedicures. “It’s something that as a father you kind of have to sacrifice what you want to do, because boys do what you want to do. If I want to go to the farm and shoot guns or ride four-wheelers in the mud when it’s 40 degrees … the girls aren’t really interested in doing that,” he said.

But McGraw said he’s found that his daughters like coming along while he does simple, everyday stuff, like running to the grocery store or stopping by the office. “Do what you have to do in your regular routine and take them with you. It makes all the difference in the world,” he said. McGraw’s wife, Faith Hill, wrote in the forward: “I hope this story provides quality time for fathers and daughters to enjoy each other’s company and make memories reading together.” While Hill loved the book, McGraw said, his daughters were far less enthusiastic. “If it doesn’t have Chris Brown or the Jonas Brothers involved, they don’t care,” he joked.

Like many teenage girls, Daisy Sandoval loves listening to the Jonas Brothers. It’s not out of the ordinary to hear their song “A Little Bit Longer” blasting from her room.
But for her, it’s more than just a song. Listening to their music provides an escape when things get hard, like dealing with chemotherapy.

The Woodland teen has been dealing with lymphoma, a form of cancer that spreads through the body’s lymph nodes, which help clean the body of toxins.

“It doesn’t make me think about what’s going on. It makes me feel calm,” she said. “They’re dealing the same problems, problems that a lot of teenagers are dealing with.”

Problems she can relate to, like when band member Nick Jonas was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.

“That really relates to me, because that song is about highs and lows,” she said. “Just a little bit longer and I’ll be fine.’”

Since their music means so much to her, Sandoval and her family have tried to meet them in person several times. In January, when she heard the Jonas Brothers were going to have a meet and greet in Sacramento, Sandoval and her family lined up outside the venue at 4 a.m. to see them. Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to meet the people who had inspired her.

That’s where Make-A-Wish stepped in. After her mother, Marta Sandoval, contacted the organization, they pulled out all the stops to help her meet the Jonases.

Back in September during the 2008 VMA’s I’m sure you all remember Russell Brand and his jokes about the boys. Well he’s received death threats because of it, here’s an article I found:

Comic Russell Brand has revealed that he received death threats following his appearance on the American MTV awards.

Digitalspy reports that Brand caused controversy during the show by referring to George Bush as a “retarded cowboy”, and mocking the Jonas Brothers about their promise rings. His performance was widely criticised and he was forced to apologise for the Jonas Brothers joke.

Brand spoke about the death threats on Chris Moyles’s Radio 1 show. He said “If you are going to kill someone, don’t give them advance notice, which gives you a chance to prepare. These Christian Republicans were watching me and thought, ‘Well this is no good, I shall do a death threat’.”

Brand is set to star with Helen Mirren in a new version of ‘The Tempest’.
